Great teacher, would tell anyone that wants CPO to go to this guy

Very informative and professional!  One of the best classes I’ve ever taken.

Passed with flying colors! Scott was an amazing teacher.  I took my class online and it was fantastic! I was fully prepared when taking my test.  He made it extremely easy to understand and to lear!  I HIGHLY recommend Scott for this certification class, hands down one of the best test courses I’ve ever taken! 1 million stars if that’s possible to give.

Very informative and educational program. Scott is the Neil Degrasse Tyson of pools. Able to make what may seem to be difficult to learn, a piece of cake. Very interactive with the class, and will not hesitate to help someone if they have difficulty understanding. It’s beneficial to have a CPO (in my opinion), not only for general knowledge involving chemicals, but for employment. Also, especially if you’re a parent with a pool at home, like myself.

Just finished and passed Scott’s CPO course and I have to say, he is an excellent instructor! His style of teaching and presentation of the material was entertaining and easily learned. Class time flew by. I highly recommend Scott and The Pool Class if you need to become a Certified Pool Operator. Thank you, Scott!

Scott Ford is an amazing instructor. He makes sure everyone in the classroom is on the same page and involved. I knew nothing going in but after the class I was able to tell you anything you need to know about pools. I loved that he allowed open book test and took the time to answer all my questions during his lecture. He made the class enjoyable with his funny personality.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Scott has an amazing personality and perfect for teaching. Class is informative and he keeps it from being boring and it’s affordable as well. The guy actually cares that you learn and know how to run a safe land healthy pool.

Scott is a wonderful teacher! I have and will continue to recommend Scott and Tropical Aquatics to anyone aspiring to acquire a CPO and learn more about pools or just learn how to take care of their own.

He breaks down all the basic concepts that are needed to get you a good start. The book will fill in any blanks that you may have and is great to study. He even walks you through highlighting the most important concepts and sections to look back on.

I really appreciate Scott’s teaching style as he is very fun, energetic, and encouraging. It’s imperative for any pool maintenance worker to attain a CPO and practice safe chemistry balancing and maintenance of equipment.

You’ll eliminate a lot of guess work from working with large corporations who claim to help you get “the best pool,” when they frequently preach completely unsupported pool maintenance techniques without reasoning behind it. Scott will guide you to the right information. You’ll also gain an idea of what safety hazards to look out for to protect yourself and pool users from negligence.

Acquiring my CPO with Scott helped me secure an amazing job managing commercial pools at a local retirement community. My new crew team also knew Scott as they have taken his class, too.

Recently attended the class and greatly appreciated Scott for his versatility during the COVID-19 lockdown. His ZOOM based class was exceptionally well managed and a transformed from knowing how to manage a pool to UNDERSTANDING how to manage a pool. Great communication from him and would genuinely recommend to experienced and newcomers alike.

Scott did an amazing job teaching this 2-day class online. I believe his level of expertise and his teaching style was highly effective. It was my first time taking this certification and I was very impressed. He took questions through out the training, and when experienced students that are in the business had questions: he pulled in pictures that was very similar to the current question and began the diagnosis of the issue and offered real solution(s). Those pictures, beginning issue and solved issue with that level of instruction was priceless. It flowed so well, you would think it was staged. He was able to even wrap those issues into the lesson and we discussed them a few times in a way to solidify our learning process. I believe he is on a mission to make pool and spa operator experts!! Thanks for a great learning experience. Kudos to Kati too…she is definitely the Admin Queen. Great Job you two!!
